Collection Terms & Conditions
By ordering a Collection suite, you are agreeing to the terms below with any purchase made from Papertree Studio, LLC

TIMELINES

Our Collection suites take about an average of 6-8 weeks to complete. Please note that this is just an estimate and a timeline will be emailed to you to agree upon. It does NOT include shipping time or assembly time if a client is completing that task on their own. Any orders placed that did NOT read these timelines, are still subject to the same cancellation policies below. Please allow yourself extra time to get them ordered!  

PROCESS

Once your proposal is accepted and contract, 50% deposit is made along with your wording document and timeline are completed we will begin the design process. If you do not submit your deposit and contract along with your signed forms within 3 days, it may delay the entire process. The same is said for the wording document and guest list upload, delaying steps in the agreed upon timeline will result in delays to the entire process along with the ship/mail date.

DESIGN AND EDITING

You can change wording on your pieces but the integrity of the design must stay the same, that is the whole purpose of the Collection. Each design was set up for a specific “feel” and style and changing fonts and moving design elements lands us in the Custom realm. We will review any requests and it will be at the discretion of your designer whether it makes sense to adjust. We are not trying to be difficult but the Collection was designed to be an easy and quick process and is priced according to that. We encourage you to review each template to make sure you are happy with the set, we can always swap it out after the initial mockup but that does use up one of your revisions.

We allow THREE rounds of free changes; which include items like spelling, grammar, edits to dates/names. Each additional round will be subject to a $50 edit fee. Changes not permitted: changing fonts, layout or general design. 

PAPER, PRINTING AND MATERIALS

Quality: We take great pride in the quality of our all products leaving our studio and do not offer “cheaper” options. The pieces you receive from us reflect our brand and studio. Every single piece of stationery that arrives is counted and inspected for blemishes. 

Design and Printing: While we try our best to match colors on screen to the actual piece you receive, we have no idea what color you are seeing on screen. Keep in mind, screens are calibrated differently so colors may be slightly different than what you see. We recommend ordering a sample pack so you can see the actual colors before you hit “approve” on that approval form. Also, there may be slight variations with ink colors, digital printing and handmade paper.

Materials: If a particular paper color is out of stock once we are ready for ordering, we will replace it with something as close as possible to the original color. We will reach out to you to make sure you are okay with that before replacing.

RECEIVING YOUR ORDER & SHIPPING

Once we receive your pieces from our printer, we will inspect each piece to ensure they are perfect. We will package up and assemble one suite for you and send you a photo or video. Instructions on how to assemble the suites will be included in the package. Make sure you read the guide, it contains very important information about assembly, postage rates, and mailing your invitations. We will communicate with you once your package is in transit by sending a UPS tracking number. We ship all of our packages with standard ground shipping with standard insurance and ALWAYS SHIP WITH A SIGNATURE REQUIRED. If you wish to waive this service, you can, but we recommend you leave it. Papertree Studio, LLC is not liable for any delayed, missing, damaged or stolen items. 

COPYRIGHTS

Papertree Studio, LLC owns all copyrights in any and all work(s) it creates or produces pursuant to federal copyright law (Title 17, Chapter 2, Section 201-02 of the United States Code), whether registered or unregistered. If the client fails to abide by these laws, legal action can and will be taken. 

Copyright protects all the design elements of the Collection (fonts, vendors, monograms, design, custom artwork). Papertree Studio, LLC will not share any design information of the purchased work(s) unless a personal licensing fee is paid and a print release is signed. Our personal licensing contracts only include vector outlined artwork assets at this time. We will not share font names, paper color names and vendors, or sources to reproduce without our approval.

Client may only ship, display, and enjoy the work(s) the designer created. The client may not under any circumstances alter, repurpose, reprint, market or sell all or part of these work(s). For example, client may not hire designer to create wedding invitation suites and then use any of the artwork from the suite on additional items or stationery, such as menus, seating charts, programs, bar signs, etc.

Papertree Studio, LLC encourages any client interested in using any part of our work to reach out ahead of time so we can assess an appropriate licensing fee. If the client fails to abide by these laws, legal action can be taken. 

REFUNDS AND/OR CANCELLATIONS

Refunds and cancellation are based upon how much work is completed. If you have any questions during this process, please email us. We will try to accommodate each client as best we can, but please understand we are a small business and will do all we can to give you a fair resolution.

If there was an error with spelling, grammar, size, color, etc. with the order, the redesign, reprint and shipping will be to the cost of the Client and not Papertree Studio, LLC.
